Baby Footprints Album

Description

This Baby Footprint Album showcases genuine footprints from a template.  Specifically, I used stamped baby footprints for authenticity. 

The brag book sized baby album holds one image per page for easy transport.

After drawing, cutting, and handcarving, the footprints were next embossed under the leather.  Soft suede pink and blue leathers wrap over the baby footprints. Next to the footprints, curved platforms rise up a level and show complimentary colors of pinks and blues. Swirls of brushed aluminum wire cap these accents.

Handmade paper lines the inner covers as endsheets.  Pink and blue threads wrap around leather cords to form headbands, stitched directly into the spine ends.

Two layers of 55 lb tensile strength fabric reinforce the hinges of the, both under the leather and under the coversheets.  Therefore, this ensures heirloom strength and quality. The pages of each Baby Footprints Album has been handripped to create a curved deckled edge.
