Description
This Custom Leather Motorcycle Book features a motorcycle wheel, wired onto the cover. The Indian motorcycle theme includes pins on the personalized leather book cover.
Brown leather wraps around a thick handcarved motorcycle fender. Importantly, hidden wires very firmly affix the fender to the cover. The steel and rubber motorcycle wheel used to be an ashtray. Repurposed, it now serves as the motorcycle focal point on the Indian Motorcycle photo album.
Swirled plumes arise from behind the wheel, encircling metal pins. For instance, a Sturgis pin and an Indian Motorcycle pin.
Smooth black leather covers an embossed name Grant on the motorcycle scrapbook. In addition, brushed aluminum wire accents the curve between the brown and black leathers.
Handstitched headbands protect the spine ends. In other words, I wrap leather cords on each spine end with brown and black threads and sewn them directly into the binding.
55 lb tensile strength fabric reinforces the hinges to ensure heirloom quality. Also, fibrous handmade paper lines the inner covers as endsheets.
Three leather pagemarkers include Guardian Bells, also called Gremlin Bells. Specifically, these guardian bells bring good luck to motorcycle riders. In addition, and American flag pendant hangs from a leather lace as a bookmark as well.
Each page of the Custom Leather Motorcycle Book has been handripped to create a curved deckled edge. The acid-free pages bind together with handsewn threads around leather cords. As a result, the three binding cords appear around the spine and onto the covers under brown leather.
