Daytona Car Leather Journal

Description

This Daytona Car Leather Journal features a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T, Daytona Series car sculpture wrapped.  Red and black leathers wraps the automobile.  Hidden wires attach the muscle car firmly to the cover.  This custom leatherbound journal now resides in Spain with a Dodge Charger fan.

Metal accents include hubcaps, headlight profile, and door stripe.  In addition, a hand stamped “DAYTONA” metal stripe accents the rear of the car.

Red highly textured coconut fiber handmade paper lines the interior of the black leather journal.  Also, archival, permanently flexible bookbinding glue ensures a lifetime of use.

Acid-free pages are hand sewn around two binding cords and individually ripped to create a deckled edge. The headbands, stitched into the spine ends, consist of leather cords wrapped with red and black threads to protect the spine edges.

A double layer of 55 lb tensile strength fabric reinforceds the hinges of the Daytona Car Leather Journal to ensure heirloom quality and durability.

A coversheet was formatted and printed before stitching the pages together, personalized with the car make and model and sewn directly into the binding.
