Description
This Equestrian Photo Album includes the embossed horse name and horsehair around a photograph.
Emily learned horseback riding on her horse, King. When King passed away, this commissioned memory album was made as a gift for Emily.
Special features commemorate King’s memory. For example, horsehair from King’s tail forms a braided pagemarker. Leather wraps the ends of the horsehair bookmark to secure it. In addition to the horsehair bookmark, horsehair swirls around a focal point in the center of the custom leather scrapbook cover, a photograph.
The picture showcases Emily with King. Importantly, glass protects the image, held in place by a raised leather frame. Thin copper wires hold the horsehair framing into place around the curves
In addition, a poem written by Emily highlights the first page of the equestrian scrapbook album.
Embossed names Emily and King rise up on curved panels.
Thick copper wire runs along the outer curve of the front cover. As a result, this wire both protects the cover edge as well as adds texture and shine.
The acid-free pages of the Equestrian Photo Album include a variety of off-white and tan sheets. Appropriately, oat grains speckle the handmade paper endsheets lining the inner covers. embedded into handmade paper.
