Description

This Golden Gate Bridge Scrapbook began from a set of blueprints.  A couple living near the Golden Gate Bridge provided detailed drawings of the custom leather San Francisco themed book that they had in mind.  Their exact artwork became the basis for this personalized scrapbook design.  Rust golden gate bridge colored leather embosses over the handcarved details.

Copper wire accents the Golden Gate Bridge as well as the outer edge of the back cover. Darker brown leather wraps the spine and back cover for optimum durability.

A stainless steel name plate mounts along the bottom. In specific, laser cutting removed the lettering to create voids for wording.  For contrast, rust leather backs the metal logo plate, viewable through the letter cutouts.

Brown and rust threads wrap around leather cords to form headbands, stitched directly into the spine ends.

55 lb tensile strength fabric reinforces the hinges of the Golden Gate Bridge Scrapbook to ensure heirloom quality.

Pages are individually handripped to create a descending deckled edge. Archival, acid-free, and permanently flexible glue protects the San Francisco book.
