Description

Genuine guitar strings wire directly into this Guitar String Musician Scrapbook. The six real guitar strings firmly wire into and around the cover.

Specific customization required a certain guitar shape for the musician.  I handcarved the guitar based on a photo of his exact instrument.  Next, blue leather becomes embossed over it, one inch at a time.  An accent of suede eggplant leather wraps an accent strip.  Likewise, smooth black cowhide wraps around the spine.  A small strip of suede purple adds an additional dash of color next to the silver wire.

Brushed aluminum wire edges the transition between blue and black leathers. Little wooden beads mount to the guitar to represent the control knobs.

Pages consist of blue, purple, and white acid-free pages.  They are bound into the book around the two leather cords seen at the spine.  I handripped each page one at a time, thereby creating a curved deckled edge.  As a result, this curve purposely matches the guitar shape.

55 lb tensile strength fabric reinforces the hinges under the leather for heirloom quality. Handmade papers line the inner covers as endsheets.
