Description
This Hidden Engagement Ring Book contains an internal surprise. While the first half of the book is functional with usable blank acid-free pages, the back pages are glued together. Thereby, within the rear pages a compartment could be formed.
Specifically, a ring compartment sets within the back pages, capped by a paper flap with a string attached. A pull on the spring reveals the ring within the compartment, held in firmly with the snug fit paper flap.
The small compartment was custom made to fit an exact size ring, so the hidden ring box could be as subtle and small as possible.
A hand carved and leather embossed tulip features on the front cover under sage green suede. In addition, a soft leather tie attaches to each cover to hold the book closed. Copper washers hold the leather laces in place..
Handmade paper coversheets line the inner covers of the Hidden Engagement Ring Book as endsheets. These include bits of flower petals embedded into the paper.
Sage green and gold threads wrap around leather cords to form headbands, stitched directly into the spine ends.
