Description
This Locked Red Leather Journal features an askew shape with a padlock and chain closure.
The blank leather journal contains acid-free pages handsewn together around the two cords seen along the spine. Deerskin and cowhide stretch around the locked diary. The locked journal slopes at the top due to all pages being cut an at angle. In addition, pages display a rough deckled edge by handripping each page one at a time.
Three diesel truck engine parts from my father for the closure mechanism for the Locked Red Leather Journal. A chain links through these rings so a padlock can securely lock the red journal closed. Handmade paper lines the inner covers as endsheets. Aluminum wire accents the design.
Additional Locked Journals may be viewed, as well as a variety of other Diaries and Journals.
