Description
This Native American Bible with Medicine Wheel includes four faux Eagle Feathers. In specific, for conservation purposes, white feathers include highlighted black tips to mimic eagle feathers. In Addition, glass beads accent the feathers on each corner laced with leather ties.
The front cover features leather lacing around the border, passing fully through the cover board.
Smooth dark brown leather individually wraps the cross. A Native American Medicine Wheel combines with the cross in black, white, yellow, and red leather.
Four small feathers were carved from bone. Next, wire affixes them firmly to the cover under the Medicine Wheel.
A double layer of 55 pound tensile strength fabric reinforces the hinges to ensure strength and heirloom quality. In addition, and most importantly, archival permanently flexible glue safeguards the book for a lifetime of durability. Specifically, this ensures that the binding will never crack like some old books which use inferior glue.
A built-in red leather bookmark attaches to the upper spine for functionality as well as a splash of color. Handmade paper lines the inner covers as endsheets on the Native American Bible with Medicine Wheel.
