A handcarved and embossed sea turtle with steel diesel truck engine parts adorns the cover of this handbound leather scrapbook album. The body of the turtle is covered with turquoise deerskin, the spine is smooth black cowhide, and the raised accent curve is suede purple.
Purple and turquoise acid-free papers have been bound into the Sea Turtle Scrapbook. Handmade purple paper has been applied as the coversheets. Handstitched headbands are stitched onto the spine edges.
