Description
This Stained Glass Turtle Book features a leaded glass window as the turtle shell. The sea turtle design rises from the surface of the leather photo album. In specific, the sea turtle was handcarved and then embossed under blue leather on the book cover.
In addition, silver beads accent the turtle shell around the window. Also, aluminum wire highlights the sea turtle scrapbook.
Thick handripped acid-free pages fill the book, handbound around four binding cords. Furthermore, green handmade papers line the inner covers as endsheets.
The Stained Glass Turtle Book includes handstitched headbands. That is to say, blue and green threads wrap around leather cords and stitch directly into the spine ends. As a result, these headbands add color and also protect the edges of the spine.
Two layers of 55 pound tensile strength fabric reinforce the hinges for extra durability.
