This Scrapbook is designed for a 60th Birthday during the Year of the Dragon. The Dragon is carved and embossed under smooth black leather, and the 60 is capped with copper. A detailed description is below.

Description

This Year of the Dragon Scrapbook is designed for a 60th Birthday on The Year of the Dragon, 2012. The Dragon is carved and embossed 3-D under smooth black leather.  In addition, copper caps the raised 60.

Copper wire accents the curve between the turquoise and purple leathers. Acid-free papers are bound into the book around the three leather cords seen around the spine. 55 lb tensile strength tear resistant fabric double lines the hinges of the coverboards to ensure heirloom quality and strength.

The headbands are handstitched around leather cords, sewn directly into the spine ends. The coversheets are a handmade metallic marbled paper and tie in with the color scheme of the Year of the Dragon Birthday Album. All glue is archival and permanently flexible on the Year of the Dragon Scrapbook.
