This Engagement Book with Hidden Ring Compartment holds a secret. A compartment to hold a ring hides in the back half of the book.
Inside this engagement surprise book there are many blank acid-free pages ready for use as a scrapbook. The back half of the book hides a section of pages secretly glued together. Within the center of those hides the compartment for an engagement ring. A small door folds over the ring to disguise it, and is held firmly closed with the snug fit to hide it until ready. A pull on a spring reveals the ring inside. This compartment was custom made to fit an exact size ring, so it could be as subtle and small as possible.
The headbands, stitched into the spine ends, consist of leather cords wrapped with brown and black threads to protect the spine edges. A double layer of 55 lb tensile strength fabric reinforces the hinges for extra durability. Archival permanently flexible glue ensure heirloom quality.
