This Etched Brass Plate Portfolio features an waterjet cut metal plate. The custom leather book showcases a business logo. In specific, waterjet etching cut fully through the thick brass name plate. As a result, black leather mounted behind the company logo shows through the lettering voids.
This same black leather wraps the spine edge for a classic look. In addition, four faux binding cords decorate the book edge under the black leather.
Since it is a screwpost book, the covers easily come apart, as seen here. Therefore, more pages may be added to the custom leather portfolio. The screwposts slide through five holes on interior flaps of the cover. Consequently, a clean exterior appearance is achieved, In addition, this binding style allows for a smooth back cover so a tabletop will never be scratched by screwposts.
Classical mottled brown leather stretches over the main cover, edged with a two level raised border. Handmade paper with metallic gold marbling lines the interior.
55 pound tensile strength fabric reinforces the hinges of the Etched Brass Plate Portfolio, hidden under the leather. Importantly, this adds to durability of the book to ensure longevity.
More Name Plate examples may be viewed, as well as Screwpost Books and Portfolios.

I just wanted to let you know how happy I am (and how happy everyone here is) about how the album turned out. It’s exactly the result we were looking for. All we had were ideas, and the physical result, which you created, fulfills those ideas better than we could even imagine. It is truly beautiful. Thank you so much.
