Description
Two levels form the cross on this Green Budded Cross Bible. Green leather stretches tightly over the cross to crisply emboss it three dimensionally.
The lower right corner features a name embossed under the leather. In contrast, a plain Budded Cross Bible can be ordered as well, without a personalized name.
A red leather pagemarker attaches to the upper spine. Likewise, for another touch of color, red handmade paper lines the inner cover as endsheets. These coversheets allow for a professionally finished interior, plus a flash of color.
Handstiched headbands protect the spine ends. To clarify, I wrap leather cords with thread colors to compliment the color scheme. In this instance, green and red threads sew directly into the spine ends.
A double layer of 55 pound tensile strength fabric reinforces the hinges to ensure strength and heirloom quality. In addition, and most importantly, archival permanently flexible glue safeguards the book for a lifetime of durability. The spine and hinges will not crack over time, as some inferior books do.
