Description
The Japanese Kanji Love Album features the Love character. The Love symbol is handcarved and embossed on the cover under red supple leather. Suede red leather covers a raised curved accent panel, bordering the smooth black spine leather.
Handmade gold paper lines the inner covers as scrapbook endsheets. The headbands, stitched directly into the spine edges, are comprised of leather cords wrapped with two tone threads.
Two layers of 55 lb tensile strength fabric, both under the leather and under the coversheets, reinforce the hinges to ensure heirloom strength and quality. In addition, multicolored acid-free pages fill the album, handsewn around the three binding cords seen under the smooth black spine leather.
The Japanese Kanji Love Album showcases deckled edge paper. In specific, each page was handripped one at a time. Therefore, a curved edge was achieved.
