Description
The Labyrinth Notebook Cover features an intricately carved labyrinth design on this notebook cover. Glue was added in 1/2″ increments while black leather was worked into the grooves, slowly moving across the entire design.
The covers of a spiral bound notebook slip into slots within the inner front and back covers. Therefore, the notebook can be easily replaced for ongoing use.
Red cowhide forms the spine. Black and red bookmarks include a copper washer accent. Copper washers are attach to each cover with soft leather ties as a closure. Hand hammered copper wire highlights the vertical line between the leathers.
Green and white coversheets line the interior of the notebook padfolio. These colors of red, black and green correspond with a Scottish Tartan fabric color palette.
Within the front coversheet is a window framing a print of the family crest. The crest is printed on a Kozo fiber handmade paper.
