Description
This Aviation Journal features various airplane parts for a pilot. A steel framed window with a glass center becomes the focal point. A hole is cut through the cover as to see through the window to the first page of the book.
The handmade burgundy paper, which lines the interior as cover sheets, is seen through the window glass. Two burgundy aluminum pegs protrude through the ends of the window frame.
A soft thick leather tie wraps around the back of the book and over each peg to hold the journal tightly shut. Copper components and wire also accent the cover design. White acid-free pages and handstitched headbands on the spine ends of the Aviation Journal.
