Description

This custom leather Celtic Cross with Rivets Bible features a unique request for straps, rivets, and washers.

Durable black leather embosses over a three dimentional cross capped in copper.  Patina copper and a steel washer form the Celtic Cross.

Embossed initials highlight the lower cover.  In addition, four copper washer accents each corner.

Thick cords wrap around the spine.  Subsequently, silver rivets cap the ends of each cord both the front and back covers.

A double layer of 55 pound tensile strength fabric reinforces the hinges to ensure strength and heirloom quality.  In addition, and most importantly, archival permanently flexible glue safeguards the book for a lifetime of durability.  Specifically, this ensures that the binding will never crack like some old books which have inferior glue.

A red suede page marker attaches to the top spine edge of the Celtic Cross with Rivets Bible.  Also, red handmade paper lines the interior of the covers as endsheets.

Handstitched headbands protect the spine ends.  In other words, I wrapped leather cords on each spine edge with red and black threads to compliment the color scheme.  They are sew directly into the spine ends.
