This Copper Mosaic Recipe Book features utensils on the cover.
Copper panels cap triple levels on the cover of this three ring binder. Both glue and solid wires firmly attach them to the cover. An patina coats the copper surface through the application of ketchup, lemon juice, salt and vinegar. Next, they are cut into shape and before being clearcoated.
Copper wire accents the cover between the black and brown leather. Decorative leather binding cords mimic the look of a true bound book. They appear at the spine embossed under the smooth black leather.
Metallic marbled handmade paper over gold and orange hues line the inner covers.
The Fork and Knife Recipe Book includes 55 pound reinforcing fabric along the hinges. It hides under the leather unseen.
