Custom Yacht Guestbook

Description

This Custom Yacht Guestbook features a carved and embossed yacht under black leather.  The personalized superyacht guestbook includes the ship name Nova Spirit.  Importantly, the font on the yacht guestbook matches the signage on the actual Nova Spirit yacht.  

A black and white drawing of the Nova Spirit Yacht provided the basis for the yacht artwork on the custom leather book cover.  Subsequently, from that printed yacht design I drew a rendering of the Nova Spirit to fit the proportions of the custom size guestbook.  Next, multiple layers formed the levels of the yacht.  Then handcarving with razor blades created the fine details.  The leather was applied 1/2 inch at a time, while working it with handtools into each groove.

Copper wire highlights the border between the smooth black leather and the brown leather around the spine.

Lined paper fills the personalized yacht guestbook.  In specific, acid-free papers were handsewn into the leatherbound guestbook. Since the superyacht sees many guests, abundant pages accommodate the custom leather guestbook for long term use.

Handmade paper coversheets line the inner covers of the Custom Yacht Guestbook.
