Description
This Leather Gear Sketchbook features engine gears and parts, atop a mosaic of raised leather panels. The car part art includes a window through the lower gear on the front cover. As a result, a red dot printed on the coversheet shows through the window. Alternatively, one could mount a photograph on the coversheet to be visible through the round window.
The odd shaped book cover showcases the handripped multicolored pages. Specifically, the upper right book cover indents to expose the deckled edge pages.
Acid-free pages fill the book, sewn around three leather cords. In addition, the endsheets showcase a print of red, white, and metallic gold circles.
Two layers of 55 pound tensile strength fabric reinforce the hinges of the industrial design sketchbook. Also, handstitched headbands protect the spine ends of the Leather Gear Sketchbook.
Black, gray, and red leathers cover the handbound book. Each mosaic panel features a different leather, including both smooth and suede leathers.
