Description
This Snapped Turtle Book represents a symbol for good luck and prosperity. A large snap attaches to the extended binding cords to form a closure as a small travel sized journal.
The Sea Turtle is hardcarved and embossed under smooth brown leather. Suede teal accents the curve of the design, while smooth orange leather covers the remainder of the book.
A copper swirl is hand hammered and wired onto the turtle shell. Handmade paper lines the inner covers as endpapers, and a leather orange page marker is included. Handstitched headbands are teal and orange. Snapped Turtle Book includes off-white and acid-free pages.
