Description

This Tree of Life Bible with Name features a handcarved and embossed Tree of Life under gold deerskin.

Dark red leather stretches around the spine and back cover.  Copper wire accents the curve between the two leathers.

Handmade paper lines the interior as endsheets.  Flower petals embed into this handmade paper to introduce a floral theme to the inside of the Bible. 

A double layer of 55 pound tensile strength fabric reinforces the hinges to ensure strength and heirloom quality.  Most importantly, permanently flexible archival glue ensures that the binding will never crack as opposed to some old books.

Four built-in ribbon  bookmarks attach to the spine of the Tree of Life Bible with Name.  Also, handstiched headbands protect the spine ends.  I wrap leather cords with thread colors to compliment the color scheme.  In this instance, they are directly sewn onto the binding edges with gold and red threads.

The front of the Bible includes special extra pages sewn directly into the binding.  Specifically, a wedding invitation.  I’m happy to bind extra pages into a custom book of your own, from single pages to a large stack of sheets.
