This USA Flag Photo Album serves as a military scrapbook for a U.S. soldier. The patriotic photo album houses military photographs to document the life of a Connecticut serviceman while in Iraq. Most importantly, the custom leather flag book will be handed down as an heirloom piece to his family.
Notably, two cutout windows intend to showcase important photographs. In specific, an image of the soldier with his kids before going to Iraq. Plus an image of him with his kids upon return. His wife commissioned the custom military book during his time in Iraq.
Red leather tightly covers the American flag art on the front cover. The USA flag features handcarved and sloped stripes. In addition, silver stars adorn the US flag sculpture.
Extra thick covers accommodate the two photo cutouts. As a result, the covers retain strength. Blue leather wraps the interior edges of these cutout windows. Blue handmade paper with metallic silver stars line the inner covers as endsheets. Therefore, the star paper shows through the windows, at least until photos mount on the first page.
Red white and blue acid-free pages fill the handbound leather military photo album.
Handstitched headbands protect the spine ends. In other words, I wrap leather cords on each spine end with thread colors to compliment the color scheme. In this instance, red and blue threads sew directly into the spine ends.
The patriotic USA Flag Photo Album will hopefully be a treasured family the keepsake.
