The Barn and Lean-to Scrapbooks are perfect for displaying your favorite farming photos as a rural photo album.  The rustic scrapbook set includes five glass windows inset into the barn walls.  In addition, the main barn doors swing on leather hinges, highlighted with steel hinge plates.  Similarly, a brown leather barn door opens on the smaller lean-to building.  The lean-to displays next to the large red leather barn book to form a grouped unit.

The back cover of the large barn photo album features a decorative double door and upper window with glass panes.

All metal components were handmade and hand hammered.  The exception is the Lean-To doorknob which is an old screw from my house built in 1906.

Paper was individually custom shaped and handsewn around the leather cords seen along the spine to create the barn with lean-to forms.

Handstitched headbands consist of leather cords sewn directly into the spine ends with red and yellow threads. In addition, two layers of 55 lb tensile strength fabric reinforces the hinges under the leather for heirloom quality.

Handmade papers line the inner covers as endsheets.   As a matter of fact, these papers may be seen through the glass windows and open doors.  They feature various grasses, plant fibers, and botanical components. The Barn and Lean-to Scrapbooks measure 15″ x 15″ x 5″ and 9″ x 7″ x 3″.

Copper, aluminum, nickel, and steel highlight the red barn art books.
