Description
The Hydrangea Wedding Album features a highly intricate three-dimensional hydrangea. In specific, each petal is individually handcarved and embossed under the smooth white leather. It requires a very slow and methodical process.
To explain, smooth white leather fits slowly into the peaks and valleys of the flower petals with archival glue. Small hand tools worked the leather into each crevice 1/2 inch at a time as each glued segment dried. Consequently, the flower petals became highly textured with crisp edges.
The wedding book represents a blue and white botanical wedding theme. Therefore, suede blue leathers coordinate with handmade blue paper found on the interior of the book covers.
Screwposts bind the personalized book covers together. As a result, more pages may be added. That is to say, the screwposts allow the book to expand and grow in depth. The leather photo album fits standard 12″ x 12″ plastic album pages for easy use.
An personalized etched metal plate captures the wedding date and names of the couple.
